The combination creates an unbelievably robust sound.\u003cbr\u003e\n‍\u003cbr\u003e\nThe optional reverb is powered by two 12AX7\/ECC83’s and drives through a 2 spring reverb tank. The reverb signal is also parallel to the input signal so there is no loss in tone or power when it’s turned up.\u003cbr\u003e\n‍\u003cbr\u003e\nThe speaker is a made in the UK Celestion Heritage G12H30 at 8 ohms. The speaker outs are comprised of a single 4 Ohm out and an 8 Ohm out, which can only be used individually one at a time.\u003cbr\u003e\n‍\u003cbr\u003e\nThe standard effects loop is a ¼” send and ¼” return non buffered loop. Only time based effects are recommended such as reverb pedals, delays, chorus, etc. Boost and gain pedals are recommended to be placed in front of the amp to avoid clipping the phase inverter.\u003cbr\u003e\n‍\u003cbr\u003e\nLike all of the other Matchless amplifiers, the Laurel Canyon is meticulously hand crafted to military like specifications from start to finish.
